AUDIO: You Know Wassup by Kehlani

Unmixed and unmastered, “You Know Wassup” responds to allegations of Kehlani’s boyfriend and rapper YG’s infidelity during what was a drunken night of Halloween for YG.

The track starts with a muffled audio clip from YG’s performance during Rolling Loud 2019, where he calls Kehlani out on stage and eventually says, “We’re in Oakland. It’s only right… Kehlani, come give me a kiss.”

Kehlani then opens up to express the pain that her partner caused and questions his proclaimed love for her.

While acknowledging that she deserves to be treated and loved better, she admits that she still has love for YG, despite the drama. Her love for him “don’t stop.”
