Emma Hayes, Chelsea Women coach, has been linked with the men's job should Maurizio Sarri leave this summer.

Sarri is currently under immense pressure at Stamford Bridge despite sealing a third-place finish in the Premier League in the just concluded season.

The Italian's imminent departure has seen Chelsea enter the market in search for his replacement.

Diego Simeone, Maxi Allegri and club legend, Frank Lampard, have all been linked with replacing the former Napoli manager.

However, Sky Sports' Sunday Supplement have suggested a female coach could be on the cards to replace the embattled Italian tactician and more particularly - Emma Hayes.

Hayes has enjoyed a successful managerial career with the Blues' Women team, guiding them to a third place finish in the Women's Super League and to the semi-finals of the Women's Champions League.

Her triumph with the women's team has seen her become a popular figure at Stamford Bridge, but it remains to be seen if Chelsea would take the risk to replace her with Sarri.
